Introduction
In April 2018, Incheon National University was established as an adjunct research institute in order to contribute to the emergence of Incheon National University as a global hub for unification and integration issues while meeting national tasks to prepare for reunification by systematically studying the issues of integration between the two Koreas before and after reunification.
The Institute for Unification Integration aims to establish a "comprehensive academic institution in the field of unification of the Korea" by setting up a research ecosystem for the establishment of a "preparatory manual for unification" as a key research area to remove uncertainty about unification of the Korean Peninsula and establish a standard manual for each sector by taking lessons from the confusion and errors in the unification process of Germany.
